And So It Begins
This is my first blog ever - - it will be interesting to see how all this goes. I’m excited to be launching my new website and start reaching out to new people who can see and purchase the items I make.
I started this quest a couple years ago and really just started getting serious 1 year ago when people started buying my crosses. Since then I’ve sold everything from crosses, still my best seller, to bean bag toss games. I’m now getting into candles, tea lights and bowls from my lathe.
This is all so I have something to do when I retire so I don’t drive my wife Christie nuts. I need a place to get up and go every day to keep active and keep my creativity going. This is a perfect outlet for that. I get to work my own hours, make fun stuff and work with people to make things they like.
The candle above was made for my daughter Erica. She saw one like it I made for my sister Lora and wanted one. I found this really cool Spalted Tamarind and thought it would turn a nice candle for her. And it did. One corner is actually rotten, but that made it even cooler. I’m really happy how this turned out and she loved it so that makes it all worthwhile.
I don’t know how often I’ll do a blog post, probably just when I have some new item I want people to see. I hope you’ll come back often to take a look and share your thoughts with me.
Until Next Time - - -
